The Birmingham City Council on Tuesday approved a $13 million incentive package for the redevelopment of the former Carraway Methodist Medical Center site.

Corporate Realty plans to turn the former hospital site into a multi-use development complete with office, retail, entertainment, hotel, and residential space.

It’s just north of the new downtown football stadium, Protective Stadium, which is under construction and expected to be completed by next year.
