Downtown Birmingham to add new parking meters

  BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBMA) The Birmingham City Council voted to approve new downtown parking meters at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. The city will enter a three year contract with ParkMobile LLC. Zyp bikes to be replaced with electric scooters, pedal-assist bikes

The Zyp bikes will soon zip on out of Birmingham, but the electric bikes and scooters replacing them will be better and serve more areas of the city. City officials have not named the company supplying the bikes and scooters, but said they should be rolling on Birmingham streets by March 2020. Read More
